Tracy Schulz is a native of Kent Island, Maryland, where he grew up hunting, fishing, crabbing, oystering, farming and working in his family’s restaurants. At home and in the restaurant, Tracy is inspired by the days he spent aboard boats on the Chesapeake Bay and farming the fields of the Eastern Shore. He fondly remembers his father’s days as a waterman and his boat named Maverick.
This has inspired him to give a new flavor to food by developing an all-purpose seasoning known as the Tracy’s Maverick Blend. Use the seasoning as a rub, shake it on or serve it as a table-side accompaniment to any meal. It is regularly used in Tracy’s restaurants,
